How do I place an order?
Shop online at shop.moodyteas.co, or find us in person at one of our Chicago farmers markets. Online orders ship anywhere in the US; market orders are cash-and-carry the same day.
How long until my order ships and arrives?
We’re small-batch, so orders ship within 5 to 7 business days of purchase. Once it ships, delivery usually takes 2 to 5 days depending on distance. If anything’s out of stock, we’ll email you before your order goes out.
Can I track my order, or pick up locally in Chicago?
Yes to both. Track your order anytime under ‘Track My Order’ in your account. If you’re Chicago-based, free local pickup and delivery is available through The Hatchery kitchen or our farmers markets, and we’ll email you when it’s ready.
Returns & Refunds
What to do if something’s not right with your order.
What's your return policy?
If your order arrives wrong, damaged, or defective, email [email protected] within 7 days of delivery with the subject line ‘Return Request, Order #[number].’ Include your order number, what went wrong, and photos, which are required. We’ll replace it, credit your account, or refund you, whichever works best. Approved refunds land within 5 business days.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. Right now we only ship within the United States.
I just don't love the flavor, can I get a refund?
Since tea is a consumable product, we can’t offer refunds for taste preference once it’s opened. If your order arrived damaged, defective, or wrong, that’s covered by our return policy above.

How our loyalty program, discounts, and mutual aid partnerships work.
What is Steepers' Circle and how do leaves work?
Steepers’ Circle is our loyalty program, or really, community membership. Every dollar you spend earns 1 leaf, and 10 leaves equal $1 off your next order. Tiers run Sampler, Steeper, Expert, and Legend as you steep more with us.
Do you offer an accessibility or SNAP discount?
Yes. We offer a permanent 50% discount for anyone at or below the poverty line, receiving government assistance, disabled, or a veteran, with one quick verification form and no reapplying. If you’re paying with SNAP at one of our farmers market stands, the discount applies automatically at checkout, no asking required.
What is Tea for Good?
A portion of specific blends funds mutual aid work. Transcendence supports Advocates for Trans Equality; Blueberry Lemon-Aid supports the Chicago United Solidarity Project. Check each product page for the specific cause and percentage. Your recovery funds someone else’s.
