Witches Brew: A Matcha Magic Potion

First up, we’ve got the Witches Brew, a mystical green concoction that’s as captivating as it is refreshing. At the heart of this spellbinding elixir is the power of matcha – that vibrant, powdered green tea that’s all the rage. Witches Brew takes matcha to a whole new level, mixing it up with some magical ingredients to create a taste experience that’s both delicious and a little bit spooky.

The Witches Brew starts with premium matcha, giving it a velvety texture and just the right amount of caffeine to keep you awake during your midnight escapades. Throw in some mint and lime, and you’ve got a brew that feels like a fresh green garden in a glass. A touch of maple syrup adds a sweet, fall flavor, while gin brings in just the right amount of warmth and a complimentary herbaceous flavor. It’s a potion that’ll put a smile on the face of even the most discerning witches and warlocks.

This Bloody Rum cocktail, served with faux bloody syringes, is a fruity and tart cocktail with Jaidrate tea and ginger beer. The spooky blood red color is perfect for a spooky halloween drink, and it's pictured here with mini jack-o-lanterns, blood, and various halloween decor.

Bloody Rum Cocktail: Jaidrate’s Bloody Bev

Next on the list, we have the Bloody Rum Cocktail. This one is chillingly good, with a hint of Jaidrate’s curse to keep things interesting. It’s a unique twist on the classic rum cocktail, perfect for those who like a little sinister twist with their sip.

Jaidrate is the secret ingredient here, giving the rum an eerie color and sweetness that’s offset by the zing of hibiscus and ginger. The result is a drink that’s as smooth as it is daring, with a flavor that lingers on your palate, drawing you deeper into its spell. Garnished with a red rim and a bloody “syringe”, the Bloody Rum Cocktail is as impressive as it is unforgettable.

Bloody Syringes:

  • 1.5 cups of hot water
  • 2 tablespoons of Jaidrate tea
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1-2 drops of red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon of corn flour

Cocktail:

  • Ginger beer
  • Rum
  • Ice
  • 1 lime

Decoration:

  • 2 Syringes
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar mixed with red food coloring
  • 1 tablespoon of honey

Instructions

Syrup for the Syringes:

  • Time to work your syrup-making magic. Take 1.5 cups of hot water and add 2 tablespoons of Jaidrate tea to a pot. Let it hang out until it comes to a nice boil.
  • Stir in 2 tablespoons of sugar into the tea. This is where the sweetness comes into play.
  • In a separate cup, mix 1 teaspoon of corn flour with 1 tablespoon of cold water. Pour this corn flour mix into the pot with the boiling Jaidrate tea. It’ll thicken things up beautifully.
  • For that vibrant red touch, add 2 tiny drops of red food coloring to your mixture. Stir it up until the color pops with intensity.
  • Let your syrup chill out in the fridge. It’s going to be the star of the show in those syringes.

Decoration:

  • We’re in for some sweet decor. Mix red food coloring with sugar. This is what’s going to give your glasses a fancy, colorful rim.
  • Grab a plate and pour in 1 tablespoon of honey. Now, take the rim of your cocktail glasses and give them a honey dip. Then, quickly dip them into the red sugar mix. Voilà, you’ve got some glam glasses!

Cocktail:

  • Let’s get the cocktail party started. Toss a slice of lime into your cocktail shaker and give it a good smash. We’re squeezing out those zesty vibes.
  • Pour in 2 ounces of rum. It’s the soul of our cocktail.
  • Add in some ice cubes and give it a good shake. You’re the cocktail shaker extraordinaire!
  • Divide this citrusy concoction evenly between two glasses, and top it all off with ginger beer. It’s the bubbly guest that never misses a good party.
  • Don’t forget the syringes filled with that chilled Jaidrate syrup. Pop ’em on top, and you’ve got yourself a cocktail that’s a little sweet, a little zesty, and a whole lot of fun! Enjoy! 🍹😄

Nightmare Nightcap: Dream Come Blue’s Color Changing Magic!

This nightmare nightcap, served with lemon wedge, is a color changing, floral cocktail with blue pea flower, lavender, and lemon. The deep blue color shift to a vibrant purple upon adding in the lemon, a perfect trick for a spooky halloween drink, and it's pictured here with mini pumpkins, lavender, lemon slices, and various halloween decor.

As the night winds down, it’s time for the “Nightmare Nightcap” featuring Dream Come Blue, the most enigmatic of Moody Tea’s creations. It’s like sipping on the essence of a restless night’s dreams – a little bit floral and a lot dreamy.

Dream Come Blue is the star of this cocktail, thanks to its enchanting blend of blue butterfly pea flower and floral lavender. The result is a vibrant indigo color that shifts into a haunting violet as you add lemon juice. Gin brings a bright and sharp herbal flavor (though we truly doubt you’ll need it), and a lemon slice adds a fragrant and bright garnish.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of brewed Dream Come Blue tea
  • Lemon wedges
  • Lavender dried flowers
  • Ice
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of simple syrup
  • Purple sugar or sprinkles
  • A shot of gin if you’re up for it!
  • Lemon slice for garnish

Instructions

  • Brew the Dream Come Blue Tea: Start things off by brewing a cup of Dream Come Blue tea. It’s as simple as steeping 1 tbsp of loose tea leaves in hot water. Let it sit and work its magic for at least 5 minutes, though we prefer 15 for this cocktail.
  • Muddle the Lemon and Lavender: Grab a cocktail shaker and toss in some lemon wedges and a pinch of lavender. Give it a gentle muddle to release those zesty and fragrant vibes. Next, fill up your shaker with ice and shake.
  • Add Lemon and Sweetness: Squeeze in the juice from one lemon. It’s a zesty burst of citrusy goodness. Then, add a tablespoon of maple syrup for that natural sweetness.
  • Glass Decor Magic: Get your cocktail glass and give it a fun makeover. Line the rim with lemon for that extra citrusy touch. Now, roll it in purple sugar. It’s like a little touch of magic right there.
  • Pour the Drink: Time to reunite your lemony mixture from the shaker with your glass. Add the lemon mixture, and when you’re ready pour in that brewed Dream Come Blue tea. Watch the color change before your eyes. It’s the perfect little bit of magic in your cocktail!
  • Cocktail or Mocktail: Feeling like adding a shot of gin? Go for it! It’s like a little upgrade to a true cocktail. Just watch out – Dream Come Blue is a powerful sleep tea on it’s own. Drink this responsibly, and only at the very end of your night. When in doubt, keep it alcohol-free and enjoy the best sleep of your life!
  • Top it Off: Finally, don’t forget to add a lemon slice on top. It’s like a perfect punch of sour citrus, and will encourage the Dream Come Blue to get even more purple around the garnish for a beautiful gradient!
