Behind the scenes, we’re constantly sourcing new products that are even better for the earth. And we’re firm believers in reducing, reusing, and recycling. We put this into practice in a couple ways.
Reuse A Tin, Get A Discount!
Bring as many tins as you’d like! For reused tin, we’ll give you a discount on the weight of the tea leaves used to refill. Got a 2 oz tin? Get a discount on 2 ounces of tea! This encourages our customers to invest in reusable packaging to use over and over again, so we can decrease the amount of single use packaging we’re putting out there. Plus, our light proof and air tight tins will keep your tea even better for longer.
Bring Us A Moody Teas Tin For 10% Off Any Refill.
We guarantee our tins will keep your tea fresher for longer, so you’re getting the best tasting cup. To encourage our customers to choose our most sustainable packaging and decrease the amount of single use bags, we’re offering 10% off any tin refill when you bring your Moody tin back to any Moody Market location.
Bring Us Any Other Tin And Get 5% Off Your Refill.
While we can’t guarantee the quality of tins from other companies, we still appreciate anyone using an environmentally friendly alternative. So, we’re offering a 5% discount on a refill for any tin you didn’t get from us. These offers can be combined with others, so don’t forget to bring your tins when you come to restock on your favorite blends!
Here’s how our Tin Reuse Discount works:
- Buy a tin with your tea on our website or at one of our market.
- Use all the tea in your tin!
- Bring your tin back to any market location, or reach out to support@moodyteas.co to coordinate shipping.
- Pick a new tea to refill your tin with! You can choose the same blend, or pick a new one.
- Decide how much tea you need in your refill. Our Moody Tins typically hold 2 ounces or 4 ounces. If you bring another tin, we’ll figure out how much tea you will fit in your tin in our 2 ounce increments.
- We’ll apply your discount to the price of your refill! If you brought more than one tin, we’ll apply the discount to every refill you purchase.
- Take home your tea in your reusable tin, enjoy, and repeat!
Bring Your Own Cup, Get $ Off Your Drink!
When you visit us in person at a market, we also offer ready to drink tea! From this year forward, we’re giving you a discount for bringing your own cup! Using your own cup will get you $0.50 off a drink (up to 20 oz iced, 12 oz hot), with an extra $0.25 off if you bring a Moody Stainless Steel Water Bottle or Tumbler! This saves us even more single us packaging, to be as sustainable as possible and encourage our friends to do the same!

- Can I use these discounts together?
- Yes! You can combine these discounts with most other discounts we offer. Our goal is to lessen the amount of single use packaging we’re putting out there, whether you buy your blends on sale or not.
- Does a reusable container qualify if it’s not a tin?
- Well, we offer this discount on tins specifically because we guarantee our tins will help keep your tea fresher for longer. Tins are typically lightproof and airtight, which will keep your leaves at optimal freshness. If you do decide to use a different container, we will honor the 5% discount for off brand tins, but we don’t encourage using glass jars, plastic containers, or bags.
- Can I use any size cup and get the reusable cup discount?
- Sort of…. You can bring whatever cup you’d like, but we’ll only fill up to 20 ounces for iced beverages, or 12 for hot teas. After that you’re welcome to purchase another beverage (with the discount!) and we’ll either refill your cup or add it on top.
