English Breakfast is your basic blend of black teas, including Assam (India) and Ceylon (Sri Lanka). This black tea is Moody’s basic black tea – if you’re looking for the economy version of a plain black tea without any added extras. Less expensive than Kumaon Black, this is perfect for beginning tea drinkers or English Breakfast lovers looking to branch into our teas.

English Breakfast tea brews a cup similar to its black tea counterparts like Assam or even Darjeeling, with a bold body, floral notes, vegetal finish, and wonderful fragrance. The perfect British “cuppa.”

AROMA AND TASTE

English Breakfast brews a strong, fragrant cup with floral notes and a vegetal finish.

BREW TIME, COLOR, AND TEMP

English Breakfast brews to a deep mahogany color. The  leaves should brew for no longer than 3-5 minutes at 200 – 210 degrees.
