Turn your favorite chai tea into a tasty treat! This homemade, creamy popsicle is easy to make and great to taste. Who says Chai has to be a winter indulgence? Stay cool this summer with these Chai Latte Popsicles!

Chai Tea Latte Popsicles

Makes approximately 10 popsicles

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of steeped Chai (use about 2 tbs. of Moody Teas chai, we recommend Kumaon, Let’s Go or Red Mood Rooibos Chai if you’re looking for a caffeine free version)
  • 1 cup milk (or your favorite non-dairy option)
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 Tb. sugar

Directions:

  1. Steep chai tea using a steeper pot or tea ball.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the milk, whipping cream and sugar.
  3. Mix 2-3 tbs of the cream mixture into the tea.
  4. Alternating with the layers, pour 1 tbs of mixture into the popsicle molds. Freeze after each layer for at least 30 minutes before adding the next.
  5. Repeat until all liquid is used up.

Pro tip: If you’re looking for a quicker, easier version, just mix the chai and cream mixture together, pour into molds to freeze, and enjoy!

These popsicles are perfect to quench your tea cravings while enjoying a frozen treat. Plus they can be made even more kid-friendly by using a caffeine free chai like our Red Moon Rooibos Chai! Kids and adults alike will love these unconventional popsicles.

Nora is a co-founder of Moody Teas. She runs brand, marketing, and creative direction. She's queer. Tea started with her mom: English breakfast, most days, growing up. She never got formal tea training — it barely exists as a credential anyway. Before Moody Teas, she went through art school, then a decade in food service. She started behind the counter, moved into managing quick-service locations, then consulted on new restaurant openings. She and John started Moody Teas in 2019. She's disabled and neurodivergent, and lives with chronic illness. That shapes how Moody Teas approaches accessibility. Spot her at the market stand by whatever color her hair is that month.
