Looking for a fun take on a gin sour? This Green Tea Sour is the answer! There are so many ways to add tea into a cocktail. From tea itself, to tea syrups, to infused alcohols, the options are endless. One easy way to incorporate tea into classic cocktails without changing the recipes is to use an infused liquor. The good news about infused alcohols is they’re super easy to make at home! This Green Tea Sour is one of our favorites, and uses gin infused with our Spring Green, but you can make infused alcohols with any of our teas!
Making Infused Alcohols
Add 6 ounces of gin (or other alcohol) to a bottle or jar, and add 2-3 tbs of Spring Green or tea of your choice in a tea ball or infuser. Shake every so often, and sample occasionally – once the tea flavor is strong enough, remove the tea before it gets bitter. This could take anywhere from 4 hours to all day, depending on the tea and alcohol.
