In early 2023, we set ambitious goals to expand our reach, participate in more farmers’ markets, and educate people about the benefits of tea. As we look back at the results, it’s evident that the year was a resounding success. With over 2,500 satisfied customers and significant growth in farmers’ markets, Moody Teas not only achieved our objectives but also surpassed expectations. Tea-rific Expansion

Picture the joy of 3,350 bags of leaves (almost 150 pounds!) and 2,150 cups of tea finding their way into the hands of over 2,500 delighted tea enthusiasts! Our little tea family grew even cozier, and we’re tipping our hats to the most dedicated tea lover who graced us with their presence a whopping 20 times. Plus, we processed a grand total of ONE refund this year (and it was for a discontinued blend), meaning each and every purchase made was thoroughly enjoyed. Each cup of Moody Tea was a delightful adventure, creating memories and connections that truly warmed our hearts.

Market Magic

The magic of Moody Teas reached new heights as we expanded from 2 to 7 farmers’ markets in 2023. Setting up shop in vibrant neighborhoods like Lincoln Square and Andersonville, we became part of the heartbeat of communities. The hustle and bustle of farmers’ markets became the perfect backdrop for sharing our passion for tea, introducing new blends, and creating a sense of togetherness that only a cup of tea can foster.

Knowledge is Steeped in Tea

Diving into the blogosphere, we embarked on an educational journey, sharing over 60 blog posts that spilled the tea on everything from debunking common myths to celebrating the role of tea in black history and women in the world of tea. Our blog became more than just words on a screen; it became a hub of tea wisdom, inviting readers to explore and learn alongside us.

Heartfelt Community Connection

At Moody Teas, community connection is at the heart of what we do. We extended the warmth of tea to 30 deserving customers through our accessibility discount, ensuring that our teas are accessible to all.
