It’s the end of July, and wow, has the start of this summer market season flown by! As you explore the farmers markets this week, be sure to visit Moody Teas to grab a refreshing bevvy while you check out some of our favorite vendors at each location. Seasonal produce is in full swing, and the markets are overflowing with the summer’s bounty – so what should you try?

What’s in season you might ask?

In the Midwest USA, late July and early August bring a delightful abundance of seasonal produce. This time of year is perfect for enjoying fresh fruits and vegetables like peaches, greens, beets, and tomatoes. You can also find delicious varieties of brambles, including blackberries and the last of the seasons’ raspberries. Vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, carrots, Swiss chard, and sweet corn are in their prime. Look for these items at local markets and enjoy the vibrant flavors and freshness they bring to your summer meals (Seasonal Food Guide).

While you’re at the market shopping for some gorgeous produce, be sure to check out some of out favorite vendors!
