OVERVIEW

Kumaon, Let’s Go! is a warm chai featuring turmeric and kumaon tea, a rare black tea similar to darjeeling. This kumaon black tea provides caffeine and a light body to compliment the rich, spicy flavors of the turmeric, chai, and a pinch of cayenne. This bold tea brews a great morning cup to focus the mind, an afternoon pick-me-up, or a warm cuppa while working late. Like many chai blends, this tea is great on its own but also pairs very well with your favorite creamer and sweetener, or brew a concentrated cup to pour over ice in an amazing tea latte.

AROMA AND TASTE

Kumaon, Let’s Go! is a warm chai blend. Kumaon black tea is a light, fragrant black tea with floral notes and a vegetal finish, layered with the traditional flavors of chai (cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, fennel, cloves and black pepper). The additions of turmeric and a pinch of cayenne add a peppery, spicy kick. This chai smells like a traditional chai with peppery and floral notes.

BREW TIME, COLOR, AND TEMP

Kumaon, Let’s Go! brews to a deep, amber color. The tea should brew for no longer than 4-5 minutes at 200-210 degrees.
