OVERVIEW

Notffee is our answer to the “I’m more of a coffee person,” blended to satisfy your coffee craving with a smoother, more balanced energy that’s easier on the body. This blend features dark roasted yaupon, North America’s only native caffeinated plant, similar to Guayusa. This yaupon provides a high level of caffeine (similar to coffee) and a deep, malty body. Blended with a variety of herbs to mimic the flavors of coffee, including chicory, dandelion root, cacao, and carob. The addition of Maca, a Peruvian adaptogen, add to this blends energy and mood boosting capabilities. This bold tea alternative brews a great morning cup to awaken the mind, lighten the mood, and provide a clean, calm energy. This tea alternative is great on its own but was formulated to drink like coffee, so make it the way you’d make a cup of joe. This blend is great “black,” or shines with the addition of your favorite sweetener and milk or alternative.

AROMA AND TASTE

Notffee is a bold, chocolatey, nutty, and slightly bitter blend. Dark roast yaupon provides a deep, roasted base, layered with a blend of herbs that intermingle to create a flavor reminiscent of coffee (roasted chicory, roasted dandelion root, roasted carob, roasted cacao shells). The addition of Maca enhances the energy and mood boosting properties, while complimenting the nutty and earthy flavors of the blend. This tea alternative smells like a fresh, earthy cup of coffee.

BREW TIME, COLOR, AND TEMP

Notffee brews to a deep, umber color. The tea should brew for no longer than 4-5 minutes at 200-210 degrees.
