FOP: Flowery Orange Pekoe

A grade of black tea made from whole leaves with young, tender leaf tips (or “tips”) that lend a slightly floral aroma. “Orange” here does not refer to flavor but historically symbolizes quality. FOP teas are often light in body with a smooth flavor and are popular in teas from India, Sri Lanka, and China.
