Yellow tea is a rare and delicate variety of tea primarily produced in China. It undergoes a process similar to green tea but with an additional step called “sealing yellowing,” which allows the leaves to oxidize slightly and develop a mellow, smooth flavor.

Nora is a co-founder of Moody Teas. She runs brand, marketing, and creative direction.
She's queer. Tea started with her mom: English breakfast, most days, growing up. She never got formal tea training — it barely exists as a credential anyway.
Before Moody Teas, she went through art school, then a decade in food service. She started behind the counter, moved into managing quick-service locations, then consulted on new restaurant openings. She and John started Moody Teas in 2019.
She's disabled and neurodivergent, and lives with chronic illness. That shapes how Moody Teas approaches accessibility. Spot her at the market stand by whatever color her hair is that month.
